Quickest Workout Ever!

February 5, 2015: Champaign, IL.  Let me start by saying that the title of this post is a complete lie.  This work out takes at least 30 minutes on a treadmill, but I promise it felt like I was only at the gym for 5!  As I become more of a "work out junky" I'm beginning to realize that the harder the work out is, the faster time goes because I'm not constantly staring at the clock waiting for my 30 minutes to pass.  For the past 6 months I have tried to stick to the 30-3 rule, which is to either spend 30 minutes at the gym or to do 3 miles worth of activity (running, walking, hiking, etc.) a day.  It has been so easy to stick to and I am definitely starting to see results through my endurance and strength.

Today I tried a new interval set of running and walking (there are tons of ideas on pinterest!), and it kicked my butt!  There's really only two intervals, but they are equally difficult, and switching between the two keeps you focussed on constantly changing the level and incline instead of how hard you are breathing.  Below is my (as of today) favorite treadmill work out.  What do you guys do for cardio?!
