December 28, 2014: Wadsworth, IL. As we get closer and closer to 2015, I've began thinking about the healthy choices I hope to make throughout next year. I've always been a lover of Garlic Hummus, but while reading the nutrition label I noticed how many unnecessary preservatives are in it and decided it was time to take action. Below is the recipe for my absolute favorite Homemade Hummus!
1- 19oz can of chick-peas, drained
1 large garlic clove
Juice of one lemon
1/3 cup of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Combined all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Enjoy with pita chips or your favorite vegetables!
